2. General Information

The protection of personal data is important. This privacy policy informs you about what data is processed when using the app "Raumigo", for what purposes, and which rights you have as a data subject.

The app is currently designed so that data is processed locally on the device.

3. Scope of Processing

The following data may be processed:

3D scan and geometry data of objects, environments, transport paths and vehicle interiors/trunks (module "CarFit"),
user-provided labels, names and notes (e.g. object names, vehicle profile names like "My BMW X3", configuration names like "rear seats folded", free-form notes such as license plate),
derived measurements, positions, fit estimates, alternative suggestions, narrow-passage markers and calculation results,
locally stored project, scan, check and report data,
technical settings within the app,
device permissions for camera, LiDAR and similar sensor functions.

4. Purposes

Processing is carried out exclusively for:

providing and technically executing app functions,
capturing, displaying and analyzing objects, transport paths and vehicle interiors/trunks,
computing possible fit, collision, movement and loading estimates,
local storage of projects, vehicle profiles, scans, checks and results,
displaying and managing user settings.

5. Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of app functions) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure, stable operation).

6. Camera, LiDAR and Sensor Access

The app uses camera, LiDAR and other device sensors exclusively for capturing spatial information (objects, environments, transport paths, trunks).

No data is transmitted to servers in the current version of the app.

7. Recipients of Personal Data

No personal data is transferred to third parties in the current version of the app.

8. No Analytics, No Tracking, No Advertising

The app does not use any analytics tools, personal tracking or advertising networks in its current version.

9. Storage and Deletion

Data generated in the app (scans, vehicle profiles, trunk configurations, check history, reports) is stored locally on your device. Data remains stored until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. When a vehicle profile or object scan is deleted, the associated check records are removed automatically as well.

If optional cloud, account or server features are offered in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Automated Decision-Making

No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. The geometric estimates of the app are computational approximations and have no legal or similarly significant effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

11. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the following rights in particular:

right of access,
right to rectification,
right to erasure,
right to restriction of processing,
right to data portability,
right to object,
right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
